Kumquat Chutney    

A friend of mine picked a bunch of kumquats recently and gave me a huge bag of them. Another friend made a delicious batch of kumquat chutney a while ago, so I asked for the recipe and got it.

Clementine Peppercorn Glaze

There were a bunch of clementines of various sizes sitting on my kitchen counter when I came across this glaze (suggested for a ham). It’s one of those recipes that take longer to get the ingredients together (and to clean up) than it does to make it.

Marcella Hazan’s Tomato Sauce Revisited

Marcella Hazan’s 3 ingredient tomato sauce is considered a classic. It’s the  simplest of tomato sauces, but I’ve only made it once and wasn’t blown away. Was the second time a charm?
