A friend of mine picked a bunch of kumquats recently and gave me a huge bag of them. Another friend made a delicious batch of kumquat chutney a while ago, so I asked for the recipe and got it.
There were a bunch of clementines of various sizes sitting on my kitchen counter when I came across this glaze (suggested for a ham). It’s one of those recipes that take longer to get the ingredients together (and to clean up) than it does to make it.
It’s good to have friends, especially ones that eat a lot of fish and pass on the best recipes! This is fast but needs at least 15 minutes to marinate.
