Paris in August means a lot of closed shops and restaurants and there are as many ways of saying “closed” as there are days in the month–you’ll see at the end.
A highight for me was the Worth show at the Petit Palais. He was the couturier for a lot of what we think of as the Guilded Age. Some amazing dresses!
